Report by emergency medical services states that a needle was in the client’s left antecubital space. Naloxone was administered at the scene. EMS relayed that someone saw the client have one beer and then go to the bathroom

I’ve never used this drug before.’’ Assessment revealed mydriasis, hyperrflexia, diaphoresis, piloerection. Supportive care provided. Medications included buprenorphine/naloxone taper x 4 days. Client stabilizied and dischargd back to shelter after completing the 4-day buprenorphine/naloxone taper
